About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to organize, prioritize and assess work for our scrum team. Business Analyst responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, you will help us roll-out products that deliver our company’s vision.

On a day-to-day basis, you will

  • Communicating requirements in detail to the development team
  • Write acceptance tests.
  • Manage the product development process.
  • Working with the product team to help conceptualize the product.
  • Work closely with the scrum team throughout the development process.
  • Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems.
  • Work with pre-sales and BAU teams to address and cater to client requirements.
  • Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects.
  • Analyse preferences and requests of end users.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon software.
  • Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.
  • Assist in grooming and prioritizing backlog.
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints.

Skills and experience

  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
  • Master’s in business administration preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst in the industry.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines.
