At a macro level, our FLO sensor provides live people counts of an office, floor or specific area (i.e. cafeteria, washrooms), whilst our ONE or TIM+ sensors provide granular detail of each space and its live occupancy data.

The FLO sensor.

The FLO sensor is placed at the entry / exit points and use thermal imaging to capture simultaneous bi-directional multi-person counts with >95% accuracy. They are a cost effective solution, without understanding the full utilization data.

The ONE sensor.

The ONE sensor is a superior option for offices with multiple space types when compared to wide area sensing. It uses infrared technology and benefits from being minimally intrusive (non-wired), simple to install (peel and stick) and is cost-effective.

The TIM+ sensor.

The TIM+ sensor is a ceiling-mounted wide area sensor that uses thermal imaging to monitor occupancy for a bank of desks. This is a more cost-effective solution for large open plan offices with no breakout or phone booth areas.

Meeting room occupancy & utilization.

Enabling real-estate and workplace managers to reconfigure and right size their meeting room spaces and inform furniture design.

The TIM sensor uses thermal imaging with >95% accuracy and transmits data in real-time to our analytics platform. This enables a granular insight into the actual, average and maximum people in the room and where they sit. To maximize availability, the sensor can be configured to release the meeting room after an agreed period of time, removing a common problem of employees not being able to book rooms even though they aren’t occupied.

The PAM sensor captures data in the office environment including noise, light, pressure, temperature, humidity, CO2, VOC, particulate matter and a range of other parameters. This is used to alert workplace managers when a threshold is breached, and we can offer integrations into building management systems (BMS) to encourage changes based on these recordings.

As PAM constantly records air quality data, it’s the ideal solution to supporting organizations achieving environmental certification standards.

PAL (Proximity Assisted Light) provides real-time status updates on workspace occupancy.


It features a dynamic light indicator which shifts in colour to reflect the availability status of a space. It’s designed to work seamlessly with other Freespace products, such as the ONE, TIM & TIM+ sensors, as well as the Employee Experience App, to support and enhance the check-in process. PAL is particularly beneficial in agile and hot-desking environments, providing a quick and efficient method to identify available spaces.
