Freespace is excited to announce we have achieved a CDP score of C. As our first submission, we couldn’t be prouder!
This score reflects our awareness and engagement with the environmental, social, and ecosystem impacts of our operations. As an enterprise intelligence platform that empowers the sustainability of modern workplaces, it’s fitting that we strive to follow in these footsteps ourselves.
Here’s more information about CDP and our environmental commitment moving forward in 2025.
What is CDP?
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a global non-profit organization that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. It helps companies and governments measure, manage, and report their impact on key environmental areas such as climate change, water security, and deforestation.
CDP assesses an organization’s environmental impact by gathering data through submissions, which are then used to produce scores based on the organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) profile.
The CDP scoring methodology aligns with the Taskforce for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and major environmental standards. The system accredits businesses with a grade from D- to A after completing a questionnaire on climate change, forests, and/or water security:
- Disclosure (D-/D)
- Awareness (C-/C)
- Management (B-/B)
- Leadership (A-/A)

Our CDP Score
As Freespace is classified as a Small to Medium Enterprise (SME), the highest achievable grade for our 2024 submission was a B. We are proud to report that we earned a C grade for FY24. While this is our first year of participation, we believe this result is a strong starting point, showing our commitment to improving our environmental efforts and transparency.
Our score reflects our high level of awareness of the environmental issues tied to our business operations. It’s a recognition of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and we’re eager to build on this foundation moving forward.
Freespace’s Commitment to the Environment
Our sustainability journey is outlined in our Sustainability Policy, which will be published later this year. In the meantime, we’re excited to continue refining our efforts. Some of the principles guiding our sustainability initiatives include responsible resource management, innovative product development, and community engagement. These policies aren’t just for Freespace—we will extend them to our suppliers and partners as well.
Looking ahead, we are focused on improving our score in the next CDP submission, with the goal of achieving an A grade in 2025. This will involve continuing to enhance our sustainability practices, reducing our environmental footprint, and driving positive change throughout our company.
