Freespace has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information security management, following an independent audit by Pyramid Certifications, accredited through ASCB (Accreditation Services Worldwide). The certificate was issued on 14 July 2026.
This isn’t just a badge we’re adding to a footer. It’s a statement about how we build, run, and support the products organizations rely on to manage and optimize their workplaces and it comes with an audit trail to back it up.
What was in scope?
The certification covers the full lifecycle of our products and services, not a just a single element of our what Freespace does:
- Design, development, and delivery of Freespace’s Intelligent Workplace Solutions
- All associated cloud infrastructure
- Internal corporate IT systems
- The software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Customer support operations
In practice, this means our systems handling your data, the code we developed in our products, and the people who support you day to day are all inside the management system that was audited and not just in a policy document.
Why this matters?
When your IT or security team runs procurement due diligence, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification means an accredited third party has independently verified what we do and how we’ve implemented it, including:
- A formal risk assessment and treatment process, reviewed on a defined cycle
- Documented controls mapped to Annex A, covering access control, cryptography, supplier relationships, incident management, and business continuity
- Audit evidence demonstrating these controls operate in practice, not only on paper
